Mountain Research, LLC is an employee-owned environmental, engineering and laboratory services company comprised of Professional Engineers, Hydrogeologists, Geologists, Environmental Scientists, Biologists, Chemists and Support Staff.
Our goal is to achieve total customer satisfaction by performing the highest quality environmental, engineering and laboratory services, completed on time and at a fair price. We will create trust, partnerships and long-term relationships with our clients, suppliers, employees and the communities which we serve.
Company History
Mountain Research, LLC was formed in 1985 with a corporate goal of providing fast, reliable, and complete environmental and laboratory services to a regional market. We continue to strive to expand our services and develop innovative solutions for our customer. We have two (2) full service environmental laboratories located in Altoona and Dubois with a satellite office in Baltimore, MD. We have two (2) Geoprobe® drilling rigs, air rotary drilling services as well as a group of Professional Geologists, Environmental Scientists, Chemists, Professional Engineers and support staff.
Our forty plus (40+) employees perform Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, Site Characterizations, Act 2 Closures, Remediation System Installations, Operation and Maintenance, Asbestos Surveys, and Indoor Air Quality/Mold Surveys throughout the states of Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, West Virginia and parts of Virginia.
